approach

「approach」通常譯為 「靠近」，例如：

He cautiously approached the house. 他小心地走近那房子。

「approach」也用於「處理（的角度）」，例如：

They approached the question as scientists. （他們以科學家的角度來處理這一問題。）

English Department has very communicative approach to teaching languages.（英語系非常強調從溝通中學習語言。）

Launched

「launch」是火箭「發射（升空）」，例如：The satellite was launched in a rocket.（這顆人造衛星是裝在火箭上發射的。）

「launch」也是「開始」，例如：The company is launching a new model next month.（這公司下個月將推出新產品。）

The new ship was launched today.（新船今天下水了。）

setting aside

Some doctors advise setting aside a certain hour each day for worry.（某些醫師建議每天騰一點時間解決焦慮。）

Setting aside what I think, what would you like to do？（先撇開我的想法，你打算怎麼做呢？）

烘焙食譜中，也常出現「set aside」：
