The wonder of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva

is inexpressible,

Having purity and majesty resulting from

many kalpas of cultivation.

Her thirty-two manifestations appear

everywhere in this world,

Liberating sentient beings

for innumerable eons.

Always sprinkling sweet dew

out from her vase,

With a willow in her hand,

through countless autumns.

Prayers from a thousand places said,

in a thousand ways she responds,

In the ocean of suffering,

she is the everlasting ferry that liberates all..

Homage to the great compassionate and merciful liberator of suffering who responds to all, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva!
