提 要

二○一二年上映的電影《壁花男孩（The Perks of Being a Wallflower）》，改編自美國作家契波斯基（Stephen Chbosky）一九九九年出版的同名小說，有人用一句話簡介這部電影：「An introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome him to the real world.」（一個內向的高中新鮮人，在學長學姐的羽翼下，見識了現實世界。）描述男主角查理上高中後，尋找歸屬感、初嘗愛情甜蜜苦澀、面對迷惘，最後走出陰霾的經歷。

飾演「查理」的羅根（Logan Lerman），一年後演了《波西傑克森：妖魔之海》；女主角「珊」（Sam）就是《哈利波特》裡演妙麗的艾瑪．華森（Emma Watson），想當然爾吸引眾多青少年觀眾。電影裡有許多經典台詞，包括歐美俚語與豐富文化意涵的語句：

1. She wasn't bitter. She was sad, though. But it was a hopeful kind of sad. The kind of sad that just takes time.

2. So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.

11. I love my mom so much. I don't care if that's corny to say. I think on my next birthday, I'm going to buy her a present. I think that should be a tradition. The kid gets gifts from everybody, and he buys one present for his mom since she was there, too. It think that would be nice.

12. There's nothing like the deep breathes after laughing that hard. Nothing in the world like a sore stomach for all the right reasons”

13. Sam dropped me off. When she was too far away to see me, I started to cry again. Because she was my friend again. And that was enough for me.

1. 不能說她「苦」，應該說她是「哀傷」，然而那是一種充滿希望的哀傷。那種哀傷很難受，需要時間療癒。

2. 那麼，我想我們會變成現在的樣子，應該有很多的原因，也許我們永遠不會知道大多數的原因。但是，即使我們無法選擇自己的出身，仍然可以選擇前進的方向，而且，我們可以試著讓人生因此有所改善。

3. 也許會因為這些已成回憶而感到悲傷，或許，根本不應感到悲傷。

4. 我只是想讓你知道，你很特別……而告訴你的唯一理由是，我不認為有任何人曾經讓我有這種感覺。

5. 你不能坐視每個人的人生凌駕你的，你不能當作這是愛情，你總得為自己做點什麼。
