俗語說：「三思而後行（think before you leap）」，所以切莫盲目有樣學樣。

我們見賢思齊（見到德才兼備的人就想趕上他）都還未必做得到；

若是見到別人「抖然而富」，就見財起意，完全不仔細思考前因後果，

甚至傷人也在所不惜，更加要不得。

The Foolish Copycat

Once upon a time, there was a man who lost all his money due to loss in business. He was very depressed and decided to end his life.

The night he was determined to end his life, while he was asleep, he dreamed about a monk came to him and said,"Don't end up your life. It is a sin, tomorrow I'll visit your home, and you must hit me on my head with a wooden stick, after that I'll change into gold and you will be rich again".

Next morning, someone knocked at the door. The man opened the door thinking that the monk has come but it wasn't , it was his neighbor. He let him in, later on , "Knock......knock", somebody was again at the door. The man opened the door, it was the monk from his dream！

The man immediately hit monk on the head with a stick, and a miracle happened, The monk turned into gold. The man was so happy that his dream had come true. His neighbor can't belive what he saw, he tried to get the details of the whole incident from the man, but the man's lips was sealed, he only replied, "You saw everything, it's a miracle".

The neighbor went home and said to himself, "tomorrow I will invite all monks to my house and will hit them one by one. In this way I will become the richest person of the village".

Next day he did the same,and all the monks were injured. They caught the man and informed the king about the incident. King's soldier's came and took the man to the king's palace.

He said to the king," I went to my neighbor's home and saw him hitting the monk who turned into gold afterward. I just copied him".

The king called that man and asked him about the whole matter. He told the king about his dream and the miracle. The king said to him, " You can go, it's not your fault".

The king said to the man who had injured the monks, " You are a foolish and greedy person. You just copied your neighbor without thinking anything else". The king put him behind the bars.

愚蠢的模仿者

很久很久以前，有一個人生意失敗，失去了所有的財產。鬱悶的他，決定結束自己的生命。

決心結束自己的生命的晚上，他作了一個夢：夢中一個和尚來到他的面前說：「你不應該結束自己的生命，那是一種罪過。明天我再來你家時，你用木頭敲我的頭，在那之後，我會變成黃金，你將再次富有。」

第二天早上，有人敲門。男子以為和尚來了，但開門看到的不是和尚，而是他的鄰居。他讓他進到屋中繼續等 。 「扣扣扣……」，有人再次在門口敲門。男子打開門，果然是出現在夢中的和尚！

男子隨即打用木棒敲和尚的頭，奇蹟發生了！和尚真的變成了金子。男子高興得不得了，夢境竟然成真。他的鄰居看得驚訝不已！他試圖從男子身上得到整個事件的細節，但男子只是說：「你已經看到的一切細節了，這是一個奇蹟！」

鄰居回到家，自己對自己說：「明天我要把所有的和尚都找來，一個一個敲他們的頭，這樣我就會變成村裡最富有的人。」

第二天，他果真亂敲一頓，讓所有僧侶都受傷。他們抓住該男子，並且向國王報告。國王的士兵來了，把那人帶進皇宮。

他對王說：「我去鄰居的家，看見他用木棒敲和尚的頭，然後就得到黃金，我只是有樣學樣，這一切的錯都要怪他。

國王叫那男子，問清楚整個夢境與奇蹟的始末。國王對他說：「你可以走了，不是你的錯。」

國王對傷害了眾多和尚的男子說：「你是個愚蠢又貪婪的人，你只看到你的鄰居的行為，沒弄清楚來龍去脈就亂來，傷害無辜的僧眾！」隨即下令把他關進監牢。
