D：Hi, Jenny. How's everything

J：I'm fine. Just a little bit busy these days. I'm preparing for my midterm exam.

D：When is your midterm

J：It's on December 24th to 26th.

D：It's too cruel. December 25th is Christmas and you have exams

J：I know. But we always have our midterm during Christmas time. Therefore, we already get used to it. And some of my classmates still celebrate Christmas even though we are going to have our midterm.

D：How about you Do you celebrate Christmas

J：It depends.

D：Actually I want to invite you to our Christmas potluck. My friends are from all around the world. Therefore, we decided that everyone have to contribute one dish that can represent their countries. Are you interested in this

J：It sounds interesting. I am in. I think I'm almost finished all of the reading.

D：Great. Then I will call you later and tell you about the detail.

J：Sure.

珍 妮：我很好。只是最近有點忙。我正在準備期中考試。

丹妮兒：期中考是什麼時候呢？

珍 妮：是12月24日到12月26日。

丹妮兒：真殘忍。12月25日是耶誕節，而你們卻要考試？

珍 妮：我知道。但是我們總是在耶誕節期中考。所以我們已經習慣了。而且即使我們有期中考，我的一些同學還是會慶祝耶誕節的。

丹妮兒：那你呢？你會慶祝耶誕節嗎？

珍 妮：視情況而定囉。

丹妮兒：實際上，我想要邀請你參加我們的耶誕菜大分享。我的朋友是從世界各國而來的，所以，我們決定每一個人要貢獻一道最能代表自己國家的菜餚。你有興趣嗎？

珍 妮：聽起來很有趣，那我參加吧。我想我差不多都念完所有的書了。
