laze around

「laze」是「To relax or spend time idly; to do nothing or very little.」（懶散的過日子，只做很少的事，或者根本啥也不做），例如：

Mary took advantage of having a few days off just lazing about.（瑪麗利用幾天的假日，度過閒暇時光。）

It’s a gorgeous day outside, so you kids get off your butts and quit lazing around!（外面風和日麗，孩子們別懶散了，出去活動一下。）

I can’t wait to go on my vacation and laze around the beach for two weeks.（我迫不及待地想開始度假，在沙灘悠閒度過兩周。 ）

lull

「lull」是「安靜（平息）……讓人想睡……」，例如：

Her questions evoked a quick lull in other conversation.（她提出的問題，讓我們的對話瞬間停止。）

The wind lulled as if it feared to waken them.（風勢漸漸平息，彷彿怕吵醒她們似的。）

After a while, the motion of the train lulled her into a shallow sleep, and she dreamed.（沒過多久，列車平穩的晃動把她送入夢鄉。）

overjoyed

「overjoyed」是高興得不得了、「欣喜若狂」，例如：

He was overjoyed when he came upon the answer.（當他想出到答案時，欣喜若狂。）

They will be overjoyed to find you safe and well.（他們看到你安然無恙，一定喜出望外。）

After paying a call on the president he returned overjoyed.（在謁見總統之後，他興高采烈地回來。）
