假如你歌詠，旁邊的人就會跟著你唱；

假如你幽默，聽到的人就會跟著你樂；

假如你擁有戒定慧，溫馨一定靠攏你；

假如你追求真善美，朋友都會包圍你。

所以，稱人惡者，人亦道其惡；

妒人有者，人亦懼其有也。

If you laugh, those around you will also laugh with you. If you are sad, those close by will also feel sad with you. If you sing, those near you will also sing with you. If you are humorous, those who hear you will also have fun with you. If you uphold morality, concentration, and wisdom, you will also be surrounded by warmth. If you pursue what is truthful, virtuous, and beautiful, friends will always embrace you. Therefore, to speak ill of people, others will also speak ill of them; to be jealous of what others have, others will also fear them.
