Good friends Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran performed the hit to a capacity crowd of more than 10,700 fans.They have performed together on many occasions in the past 12 months.
Taylor and Ed turned up the heat on her Red Tour, and later the flame-haired singer took to the stage for a duet of his hit "I See Fire at Berlin's O2 World" on Friday night.
The pair sang a touching rendition of the song, which Ed, 22, wrote for fantasy movie "The Hobbit：The Desolation of Smaug."
Taylor, as she was going to a charity ball, wore a long white floaty dress for the performance and during the duet she asked her fans to hold up anything they had which gave off light and sing along.
The crowd duly obliged resulting in an explosion of light which filled the arena to great effect.
During the gig, Taylor performed several hits from her fourth studio album, Red, including " I Knew You Were Trouble" , "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "22".
Following the gig, the 24-year-old beauty took to her Twitter account to thank her fans for singing along to her hits.
Following their visit, the blonde singer was given a pin badge of the American flag and the British flag side-by-side by the ambassador, and she took to her Instagram account on Saturday to convey her delight at the gift.
In a message accompanying a picture of the object, she wrote："A huge thank you to US Ambassador Matthew Barzun for giving me this pin that so accurately expresses my feelings."
