A group of students from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde visited Fo Guang Shan Mabuhay Temple on July 7th 2023. The students are doing their project requirement for REEXECO class (Religious Experience class) as part of their academic curriculum.
Through the actual practice of sitting meditation, Venerable Zhipu bring the students to experience spiritual calmness for them to serve as a guideline, dealing with their hustle and bustle daily life. BLIA teacher, Marlene Lao introduced fundamental teachings of Humanistic Buddhism is to practise Three Acts of Goodness (TAG) and build affinities to benefit all beings.

Students named Christine is interested to learn for the differences between Buddhism and Christianity; Benjie is surprised that Buddha teachings is more than the religious pratices but mental education towards right thought formations; Hanna is admiring FGS founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun for his dedication to benefit the society by buliding up Guang Ming College in Tagaytay, providing the poor free education.

The visits served as a platform for the students to learn more about Fo Guang Shan Mabuhay Temple, its core principles, and its efforts in promoting peace, harmony, and compassion in the world.
