came to knowledge
「come to one's knowledge」就是「 to become known to one」(被那人獲悉),也就是「那人知道了啦!」
「to my knowledge」的例子:「It has come to our knowledge that you have been cheating in exams for months.」(據我們所知,你好幾個月的考試都作弊。)
「It has come to our knowledge that you are going to study in Australia.」
your majesty
「majesty」是「雄偉、壯麗」,例如:「We were impressed by the majesty of the lofty mountains.」(雄偉壯麗的高山,讓我們留下深刻印象。)
「majesty」也是「(帝王的)威嚴」,例如:「The queen of England was seated on the throne in all her majesty.」( 英國女王威嚴地坐在王座上。)
「your majesty」通常是對君王、統治者( kings or emperors)表示尊敬的稱謂,也可以說「your highness」。
