The private sector across the United States has already been experimenting with healthy incentives for employees with anything from rebates for gym memberships to insurance deductible for nonsmokers. 
The wellness trend has been expanding to state and county governments as mounting healthcare costs drain budgets.
The assessment might include such goals as increased exercise, eating more fruits and vegetables, or cutting back on alcohol consumption. Individual health assessments will never be seen by county overseers, but will instead be passed along to a third party agency, which will monitor employee participation and progress.

評鑑指標諸如增進運動、多吃水果和蔬菜,或減少酒精飲料的消費。個人的健康評鑑絕不會讓郡政府的監督員看到,而是傳給第三機構來追蹤員工的參與和進度。
