Typhoon Days  颱風假

I：Irene

K：I hate typhoons, especially during my summer vacation.
I：So do I. When a typhoon comes, I can go nowhere.
K：Then what do you do at home? I always get bored at home.
I：I never get bored because I help my mother with the housework. For
example, I clean up my room, mop the floor, and wash dishes.
K：You are really great! My mother never lets me do the housework.
I：My mother usually tells me that I have to learn to grow up. Helping
her with the housework is a good way to start.
K：I think I should learn more from you, then I won't get bored on typhoon
days either.

凱西：我討厭颱風，尤其是在我放暑假時。
愛琳：我也是。當颱風來時，我哪裡都不能去。
凱西：那麼你在家都在做什麼呢？我在家都覺得好無聊。
愛琳：我從不會覺得無聊，因為我要幫忙媽媽做家事。比方說，打掃我的房間、
擦地板還有洗碗盤。
凱西：你真得好棒！我媽從來不會讓我做家事。
愛琳：我媽總是告訴我要學著長大。幫忙她做家事是一個不錯的開始。
凱西：我覺得我應要多向你學習，那麼颱風天我就不會無聊了。
