Cable TV means the transmission1 of  TV programs or movies to the home through coaxial2 cables. At first, the purpose of cable TV is to have better reception3 in suburban areas. Gradually, consumers4 began to demand more programs. Unlike regular TV shows, viewers have to pay to watch cable TV.
