J︰Hey Peter, I've got a great idea. Now that you've moved into your new home, let's have housewarming1 party to celebrate.

P︰A party That sounds good to me. I could definitely3 use some relaxation after all of this hard work. Who are we going to invite4 to the party

J︰Well, that's up to you, it's your party. But I was thinking that I'd call my friends Susan and  Violet. I guess they'd bring their boyfriends over, too.

P︰Are you sure you want to invite Susan again this time The last time we had a party, she drank a little too much punch and started singing loudly. She woke all the neighbors up and they nearly called the police.

J︰Well, that  was your fault. You shouldn't have made punch so strong.

P︰I'm not inviting her, she's too annoying5 anyway. How about my friend Joseph

J︰That guy   He's too shy. Every time he comes over, he just sits on the couch and pretends6 like no one is there. And he is always making weird noises.

P︰Those   "weird  noise"  are bird sounds. He knows how to speak to birds. They can understand him perfectly.

J︰I  don't  care.  Joseph the  "Bird Man" is not coming to our part.

P︰Would you like to forget about the party and just go to the movies with me instead

J︰OK！It's a deal.

珍︰喂，彼得，我有個好點子。現在你已搬進新家，我們辦個派對來慶祝吧。

彼得︰派對？太棒了！在如此勞力工作後，我可輕鬆一下。我們要請誰啊？

珍︰嗯，隨你囉，你的派對。但我剛想到我可以找我朋友蘇珊和紫羅蘭，我猜她們也會帶她們的男友。

彼得︰妳確定這次還要找蘇珊來？上次有個派對，她有點超量飲用水果調酒，然後就大聲唱歌。她把所有鄰居都吵醒了，他們差點報警。

珍︰嗯，那是你的不對，你不該把調酒用那麼烈。

彼得︰我不請她，反正她也很煩人。妳覺得我朋友喬瑟夫怎樣？

珍︰那傢伙？他太害羞了。每次他來，就只坐在沙發上，好像沒人在一樣，而且他總是發些怪聲音。

彼得︰那些怪聲音是鳥叫聲，他能和鳥對話，鳥兒也完全了解他。

珍︰我不管，鳥人喬瑟夫是不准來我們的派對。

彼得︰我們就忘了這派對，妳跟我去看場電影如何？

珍︰好，一言為定！
