Philippine Fo Guang Shan Yuan Thong Temple held the "Memorial Venerable Master Hsing Yun – Three Acts of Goodness Show" to commemorate the remarkable achievements of the founding master, Venerable Master Hsing Yun. The event took place on February 3 at the SM Department Store Square and was generously supported by SM Supermalls, highlighting the longstanding collaboration between Fo Guang Shan and the Department of Education in the Philippines through the Three Acts of Goodness Project. The aim was to deepen the understanding of this noble initiative among a wider audience.
Prior to the event, venerable Zhi Rong led the faithful in a prayer ceremony, reciting Venerable Master Hsing Yun's New Year aspirations. The wishes extended to everyone for good health, prosperity, and national peace in the coming year. The participants were also specially invited to Yuan Tong Temple on New Year's Eve to partake in this meaningful event together.

When the event officially commenced, Teacher Rutha introduced the Three Acts of Goodness team, led by Teachers Tata, Virnie, and Nikko. They elaborated on the profound meaning represented by the "Three Acts of Goodness" for the live audience. The program featured engaging quiz games interspersed throughout, designed to provide a deeper understanding of the concepts of Three Acts of Goodness and the founding master of Fo Guang Shan. Through this interactive approach, more people gained a profound knowledge of Three Acts of Goodness, Fo Guang Shan, and Venerable Master Hsing Yun.

Gil, during the event, presented the Three Acts of Goodness activities at Fo Guang Shan, sharing Buddhist stories and the outstanding achievements of Venerable Master Hsing Yun. He candidly expressed his initial involvement as a volunteer in the Catholic Church but, inspired by his admiration for Venerable Master Hsing Yun's humanistic Buddhism, joined Fo Guang Shan's volunteer team to promote the values of Three Acts of Goodness. Despite his responsibilities in the church, he willingly participated in this extraordinary project.

In the course of the event, students from social education conveyed blessings to the audience through singing and dancing with humanistic songs. Their heartfelt performances aimed to wish well for everyone worldwide, echoing the sentiments expressed in Venerable Master Hsing Yun's couplets for the New Year – "龍天護佑Heavenly blessing and protection" and "生耕致富Earnest cultivation yields fruitful harvests," hoping to bring happiness and prosperity to all.

Finally, the event concluded with the moving songs "We are Family" and " Three Acts of Goodness," creating a sense of unity among all participants. It seemed as if everyone was connected, collectively following the teachings of Venerable Master Hsing Yun to spread the values of Three Acts of Goodness to even more distant places.
The "Remembering Venerable Master Hsing Yun – Three Acts of Goodness Show" was not only a cultural exchange extravaganza but also a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Through diverse forms of performance, more people could benefit from the values of Three Acts of Goodness, contributing to the construction of a better society together.
