L:What were you doing the whole morning
R:I was writing the Chinese New Year greeting cards.
L:But Wednesday is Chinese New Year's Eve!
R:Yeah. I know. I forgot to write the cards until last night.
L:But will your friends get the cards on time
R:I don't know. But I will go to the post office and ask about that.
L:Maybe you could use the on-line greeting card. What you have to do is type your greetings and send it as an e-mail. Your friend will definitely get it within a minute.
R:But I prefer a real card. With the real card, you can keep it and read it even after several years. But it is easy for people to delete the electronic greeting cards.
L:Maybe it is true, but the problem is your friends might get your cards after the Chinese New Year.
