L：What were you doing the whole morning

R：I was writing the Chinese New Year greeting cards.

L：But Wednesday is Chinese New Year's Eve！

R：Yeah. I know. I forgot to write the cards until last night.

L：But will your friends get the cards on time

R：I don't know. But I will go to the post office and ask about that.

L：Maybe you could use the on-line greeting card. What you have to do is type your greetings and send it as an e-mail. Your friend will definitely get it within a minute.

R：But I prefer a real card. With the real card, you can keep it and read it even after several years. But it is easy for people to delete the electronic greeting cards.

L：Maybe it is true, but the problem is your friends might get your cards after the Chinese New Year.



琳達：你整個早上都在做什麼？

瑞塔：我在寫新年賀卡。

琳達：但是星期三就是除夕夜了！

瑞塔：是啊，我知道。我一直到昨天晚上才想到忘了寫卡片。

琳達：不過，你的朋友可以準時收到賀卡嗎？

瑞塔：不知道。不過我會去郵局問問這件事。

琳達：或許你可以用線上的賀卡。你只要把你祝賀的話打好，就可以用電子郵件的方式送出去了。你朋友一定馬上收到你的卡片。

瑞塔：但是我比較喜歡真的卡片。有了真正的卡片，你可以保留起來，即使好幾年之後，你還是可以讀它。但是電子賀卡就比較容易被人給刪除。

琳達：或許這是真的。只是問題是，你的朋友有可能過年之後才會收到你的賀卡了。 （功文文教機構）
