提要

禍與福互相依存，也可以互相轉化，但是沒有永遠的福氣，也沒有永遠的災禍。有時壞事可以引出好的結果，好事也可以引出壞的結果。在幸福中，要惜福知足，也要有遠慮、時刻保持清醒。

Two angels decided to visit a town. They wished to bless a family and provide them with enough wealth and happiness. The angels decided to disguise themselves as two girls who were pale and dull in appearance.

They picked two houses. The first one was located at the entrance of the town. It was a big house and it appeared like a mansion with many rooms. The girls requested the house owner of the big house to let them stay at their house just for one night as the night was too cold and frightening.

The house owner was very rude, therefor the angels pleaded to the family members, and not one of them allowed the angels to stay inside. After pleading for a few minutes, the house owner asked them to stay in the basement located at the back of the house. It was so cold and exceptionally small for two-person.

Even though, the angels thanked them and stayed in the basement. One angel saw a hollow and a part of the wall broken. She repaired the damaged wall with her magic and covered the space.

The second angel was surprised.....and they left early the next morning.

Next was the second home chosen by the angels. The house was very compact and located at one corner of the town. The angels asked the woman who opened the door if they can get accommodation for the night.

They were cordially invited. The house owner asked them to stay in their room for the night, as they looked very tired. The nice couple offered them food and they slept peacefully.

The next morning they heard that the couple's cow had escaped from a hole in the wall. The woman was crying and the man looked extremely worried, as the cow was the main breadwinner for the family. They lived on selling their cow's milk.

The second angel was very angry, as the first angel had transferred the hole from the other room. When they argued, the first angel told her, "I repaired the wall in the big mansion, the hollow space had a hidden treasure, but no member in that family was good at heart and they did not deserve it! That is why I closed their treasure."

"However, you shouldn't worry, the good couple who offered shelter and food to us I have provided them with a pot full of gold coins. They will find that treasure someday and surely will make good use of it."

Everything has two sides. What appears bad may be good and vice versa.

兩個天使決定拜訪一個小鎮，她們希望眷顧其中一個家庭，讓他們有足夠的財富和幸福。天使們決定讓自己偽裝成兩個蒼白平庸的女孩。

她們選了兩間房子。第一間是位於城鎮入口的一棟大房子，看上去是一個有許多房間的豪宅。女孩要求大房子的主人讓她們在屋裡度過，因為夜晚太冷又嚇人。

由於大房子的主人粗魯無禮，天使於是懇求其他的家庭成員，但沒有一個人允許天使留在大房屋裡面。持續了幾分鐘後，房主讓她們在房子後面的地窖過夜，那對她們來說，實在太冷又太小了，簡直擠不下兩個人。

即便如此，天使們仍然道謝並留在那冷冰冰的地方。一位天使看見牆壁有個破洞，一部分的磚也不見了。她用魔法修復了破損的地方，讓空間裡不再灌風。

第二個天使很驚訝她這麼做......她們第二天的一大早就離開了。

接下來，是天使們選擇的第二個家庭，一個非常袖珍小巧、位於城鎮角落的房子。天使問開門的女人，是否可以讓她們過夜。

天使們受到誠摯的邀請，屋主讓看起來很累的兩個女孩在房間裡住下，而且這對好心的夫婦還為她們準備食物，讓她們安穩地睡了一夜。

第二天早上，她們聽說這對夫婦的牛從牆上的一個洞裡跑掉了。女人哭哭啼啼、男人看來憂心忡忡，因為賣牛奶這家的主要經濟來源。

第二位天使非常生氣，因為這個洞，是第一位天使從豪宅地窖的牆移過來的。當她們爭吵時，第一位天使告訴她：「我修理那棟大宅時，中空牆的空間裡有一個隱藏的寶藏，但那個家庭中沒一個成員心地善良，他們不值得。這也是我封了他們寶藏的原因。

「但是，妳不必擔心，為我們提供庇護和食物的善心夫妻，我給他們一個裝滿金幣的鍋。他們總有一天會發現寶藏，也肯定會善加利用。」

一切都有兩面。外表乍看似乎不好的，可能是實質卻是良善的，反之亦然。
