The Tong Tree starts to blossom in April and reaches its peak in May. Hence the Tong Flowers have obtained the name "May Snow" or "wu yue xue."

  The Tong flowers look like snow from afar right? You saw that. From afar! Looks like so. I wasn't full of it or talking nonsense. Hey! To say full of it or talking nonsense in Chinese you say, "hu shuo ba dao". "Hu" means reckless, "shuo" means talk, "ba" means 8, and "dao" means theory. Together if a person recklessly talks about 8 different theories at the same time, he or she must be talking nonsense. Or we say he or she is "hu shuo ba dao".

  For example, if a guy says "you are the love of my life" to a girl, but he is checking out another girl while saying it. He must not mean what he says. He must be "hu shuo ba dao."

  油桐花在四月開始盛開，五月時最茂盛，因此，油桐花有May Snow的美稱，也就是中文的「五月雪」。

  比方來說，如果有男生對女生說：「妳是我的最愛」，不過說這句話的時候，他的眼睛正看著另外一個女生，可見他一定是心口不一，他一定是在胡說八道！
