佛光山開山星雲大師倡導的「人間佛教」理念，向來是佛光山四眾弟子遵循的準則。「二○一二國際佛光會世界會員代表大會」昨以「人間佛教與我」為主題，邀請多位佛光信徒與輔導法師，暢談各自生命因追隨大師而轉化，且透過奉行、弘揚人間佛教而昇華的歷程。

On October 12, BLIA members from the five continents shared their Dharma propagation experiences in six different sessions, including Chapter Supervisors, Directors, Presidents, Executives, Lay Dharma Lecturers, and Monastic Advisors. Exchanges were conducted on how the Dharma reached out to the community in accordance to the local cultures, traditions, and legislations.

Fo Guang Shan and BLIA are like the two wings of a bird; when the wings are strong, the bird can fly high. Activities have to be conducted and the Buddhist faith needs to be handed down. BLIA and YAD should work together even more closely, while presidents and elder advisors need to support and coordinate even better so Humanistic Buddhism could be further propagated.

The Forum on “Humanistic Buddhism and I” provided the opportunity for overseas BLIA members sharing their localization of the Dharma and BLIA members in Taiwan their development of BLIA affairs and personal growth in wisdom.

The evening’s Light-offering Ceremony in the Main Shrine witnessed the sustaining of light from the many lamps and in connecting with the Buddha, a testimony of what Venerable Master Hsing Yun stated, “Humanistic Buddhism will certainly be a ray of hope for the future.”



12日大會日程，五大洲佛光人的弘法經驗分六個場次分享，協會理監事、會長幹部與檀教講師、輔導法師，就各地區因應不同風俗國情、法令，讓佛教走出去的過程進行觀摩交流。

佛光山與佛光會有如鳥之「雙翼」，當雙翼強壯時，鳥才能展翅高飛。活動需要開展、信仰需要傳承；佛光會能與青年團更密切結合、會長與督導更相輔相成，人間佛教就能發揚光大。

「人間佛教與我」論壇，海外佛光人談佛教本土化；台灣佛光人分享會務發展與個人智慧增長。

晚間於大雄寶殿舉行的獻燈祈福法會，燈燈相續，與佛接心，印證星雲大師開示「人間佛教必定是未來的一道光明」。
