I haven't seen a starry sky for a long time.  The city pollution has covered the starlight at night. 
太久沒有見到星夜的天空，都市漫天塵埃遮蔽了星光。

We climbed to the top of Ah Li Mountain.  Here we finally saw a canopy of night stars.
登臨阿里山，終於望見清朗夜空裡的滿天星斗。

The dusk in the mountains came early.  No sooner had the sun retreated into the thick foliage, when darkness cast its huge net upon us.
高山的夜似乎來的較早，陽光隱沒在密密的葉叢中，暮色似一張大黑網把大地籠罩，夜已降臨。 

On the slop the dark blue sky covered us with a canopy of black velvet sprinkled with diamonds.  I found immediately the Big Dipper and the North Star, my childhood acquaintances long to me from living in the city.
坐在山坡上，仰望暗藍夜空，星 辰盡入眼簾，就像黑絨布上撒下一把碎鑽，是那麼晶瑩亮閃。我一眼就辨認出北斗七星，就在我的頭頂，七顆似長柄的斗，從小就被告知從星星看方位。居住於上空聚塵的都市，已和星星久違了。 

My friend showed us all the constellations.  Insects chirped in the grass.  The trees rustled in the night wind.  No one wanted to say anything to spoil the sound of great Nature.
朋友一一指點各星座，大家靜靜的觀看，不再作聲，草叢中有蟲鳴唧唧，伴和著風拂枝葉的窸窣，諦聽大自然的天籟，誰都不願攪擾了難得享受的靜寂。 

I looked over the tree tops, losing myself like a breeze to my childhood dreams in the Milky Way.
儘管四周幽暗，星星散發的微光，也能在地面透出一些形影，我從高大樹幹向前望去，不能望盡葉密林深，卻已神遊林叢，無我無思，幻化一縷微風，悠遊於空寂中了。
