On Jan 18 2024, Mabuhay Temple invited Professor Yao Ming Hung (Director of the Master’s Degree Program in Sustainable Green Technology at the University of Nanhua; Taiwan Sustainable Green Technology Development Association) to give an admission briefing of Taiwan Nanhua University.

Through online Zoom meeting, Professor Hung explained the purpose of TEEP (Taiwan Experience Education Program) to build innovation and cross disciplinary knowledge to serve society. Interdisciplinary curriculum courses are offered to develop student career and life. Professor Hung elaborated further that this is a world of united knowledge, not just getting a bachelor’s degree, with other disciplines, the new generation must learn be open minded and courage to step out of their comfort zone to gain knowledge and be willing to be curious.

Mabuhay Temple appreciated Nan Hua University for giving the Filipino student opportunity to study oversea and broaden their horizon for their career, life development and life education. Nan Hua is a pioneer in the field of sustainable environment education in Taiwan, recognized by the government and business community. Philippines is chosen because of its proximity to Taiwan, so Taiwan wants to partner with Philippines to prepare for future business. Agriculture is important for the Filipinos, not just for livelihood, but as a food bank for the people, that the future the world will rely on Filipinos for agriculture economy.
