In a heartening display of community spirit, the "It is Good to Have You" campaign, organized by the compassionate members of Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA), recently delivered an abundance of joy to the young patients at Westmead Children's Hospital and Fairfield Hospital.

145 presents were donated by dedicated BLIA members, BLIA Scout group and Nan Tian Chinese School who rallied together to make a positive impact on the lives of children facing health challenges. Their generosity not only demonstrated the power of collective giving but also illuminated the spirit of compassion that defines the BLIA community. Some of these gifts were also purchased from the charity sale promoted by Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Parramatta.

Representatives from Westmead Children's Hospital, Kate and Carlie, were present to graciously accept the gifts on behalf of the young patients. Their attendance underscored the significance of community support during times when a gesture of kindness can make a world of difference.

The presents, ranging from toys to essential items, have undoubtedly brought smiles and comfort to the faces of the children at Westmead Children's Hospital. The impact of these contributions extends beyond the tangible gifts, conveying a message of care, empathy, and solidarity during challenging times.
