J： What are you looking at Oh! What a beauti-ful photo it is!

D：Yeah, it is beautiful. My cousin sent it to me. She lives in Hokkaido.

J：Hokkaido It's a nice place, especially in winter. The snow scene is wonderful.

D：I know. That's why I look at this picture in admiration. Look at this! I have never seen such a beautiful snow scene!

J：That's true. It's a pity that it is difficult to see a

snowfall in Taiwan.

D：That's because the climate of Taiwan is warmer than Japan. It makes us seldom see the snow.However,the different climates also make the world various.



詹姆斯：妳在看什麼？噢！這張照片真是漂亮啊！

戴博拉：是啊，是很漂亮。我堂姊寄給我的。她住在北海道。

詹姆斯：北海道？那是個好地方，尤其是冬天的時候。雪景真是太棒了。

戴博拉：我知道。這就是為什麼我會讚賞的看著這張照片。看！我從沒看過這麼漂亮的雪景。

詹姆斯：那倒是真的。很遺憾在台灣很難看到雪景。

戴博拉：那是因為台灣的氣候比日本暖。氣候讓我們很少看到（降）雪。然而，不同的氣候也讓世界變得更多彩多姿。
