S=Susan    J=Jimmy

(After school  while  Susan  and  Jummy  were  walking  on  the  sidewalk.)

S : I  saw  you  jaywalking  this  morning.  What's  the  rush?
J : I  was  afraid  that  I  was  going  to  be  late  for  school.
S : But  do  you  know  it's  very  dangerous  to  walk  in  that  way?    
My  mother  said that  many  avoidable  accidents  happened  just
        because  of  the  careless  drivers and   passengers  who  don't  obey  the  traffic  signs.    
J : I  know. I did  it  for  the  first  time,  and  you  caught  me.  I  swear  I 
won't  do  it  anymore.  Let's  go  quickly. Maria  is  waiting  for  us！ 
S : Watch  out,  Jimmy!  There  you  are  again.  It's  amber  light.

（放學後蘇珊和吉米正走在人行道上）

蘇珊：我看到你早上亂穿越馬路，你在急什麼呢？
吉米：我怕我上學快遲到了。
蘇珊：但是你知道那樣走法有多危險嗎？我媽說許多可以避免的意外會發生，都是因為那些漫不經心的駕駛和不遵守交通號誌的行人。
吉米：我知道。我第一次這樣做，就被你抓到了。我發誓我不會再這麼做了。我們趕快走吧，瑪利亞在等我們呢！
蘇珊：吉米，小心！你又來了。現在是黃燈。
