被稱為「科羅拉多桂冠詩人」的約翰．丹佛（John Denver），是美國鄉村音樂作曲家以及音樂人，曾經在一九七○年代以許多膾炙人口的歌曲紅極一時。他熱愛大自然，是野生動物保護協會會員，曾舉辦多場慈善演唱會為協會募款。也因此不難了解，他多麼喜歡陽光灑在肩上、讚歎自然美景。
