3. Beneficial Deeds: This involves helping others solve their problems, assisting others in achieving success, helping others to fulfill their wishes, and offering others convenience. When people were sick, provide them with medical care; when people confront hardships, offer financial assistance, show sympathy and a benevolent heart, help them find a job when needed, and assist them in achieving their goals.
To those who do not believe in righteous Dharma, violate the precepts, those who are greedy or stingy, and those who dislike wisdom, we should skillfully guide them in order for them to develop faith, help them develop faith and realize that helping others through wholesome deeds of the body, speech, and mind is in fact a way of benefiting themselves. Consequently, this should make them fell happy and turn towards the righteous Dharma.
4. Fellowship: This involves using one’s wisdom to observe sentient beings’ potentials and conditions, obliging to their needs and giving them happiness through expedient means. For example, being able to discuss military affairs to someone who serves in the army; discussing business affairs to those doing business. To manifest yourself in the form of the being who needs to be saved, he will manifest in
that beings form{5}. Co-exist and be colleagues with others, be their virtuous companion, and lead them away from evil deeds. Furthermore, accompany them in cultivating wholesome deeds, and experience the benefits of learning the Dharma together.
“Sentient beings are boundless, we vow to liberate them{6}” hopefully, everyone will follow the compassions of the bodhisattvas and practice according to these Four Embracing Virtues to help all sentient beings.
