Dutch researchers have invented a TummyTub to give babies the feeling that they are in the womb, while they can simultaneously view their surroundings. They may just look like bubs in buckets, but this is apparently the closest these babies will get to life back in the womb.

The TummyTub is an invention with doctors, midwives, health visitors and maternity hospitals across Europe all giving it the thumbs up. "It helps to ease the transition from the comfort of the mothers' womb to the new world," the makers say.
