G：May I ask you how many books I can check out and for how long？

C：You can borrow up to 12 books for a maximum of 2 weeks.

G：Only two weeks？

C：Yes, but you can use your card and phone number to renew the books on the Internet if they are not reserved by other people.

G：That sounds better. Thanks.
