J: Peter, can we get some snacks before we see our movie We forgot to eat dinner tonight, I'm starving.1

P:Come on, Jane. You know eating junk food is not good for you. Besides, we can grab2 a late night snack after the movie.

J: I know, but just some popcorn, please I'm so hungry. You're the one that made us rush3 to the theater early, so we wouldn't miss the previews.4

P:The previews are my favorite part! I really want to see the preview of the new Spider-man movie, I hear it's going to be amazing.5

J: Ok, ok. Popcorn first.

P: Right.[walks to concession stand]
 (To concession worker)︰One medium popcorn, please.

C: Would you like to upgrade6  a large popcorn It's twice as big as the medium, for only 50 cents more.

P: No, thanks. I really don't need that much popcorn. The medium will be fine.        

C: How about trying our Popcorn and Coke combo7 For only two dollars more, you can have a popcorn and a large soft drink, both with free refills8 for the whole night.

P: No, no, that's ok. I just want a medium popcorn and nothing else, thank you.        

C: That will be $4.50. Do you want butter on your popcorn

P: No, thanks. But I would like to get out of here. We're going to miss the previews.

J: Peter, be nice!

P: Sorry, here's＄4.50. Thank you.

C: Thank you sir, enjoy the show.

珍︰彼得，我們看電影前能買些零嘴嗎？今晚我們忘了吃晚餐，我餓扁了。

彼得︰拜託，珍，妳明知吃垃圾食物是不好的。而且，我們可在電影後隨便吃些點心。

珍︰我知道啊，但是一點爆米花就好了，拜託啦！我超餓的。就是你趕著要早到戲院，不想錯過預告短片。

彼得︰預告短片是我最愛的，我真的很想看新蜘蛛人的電影預告，聽說非常棒。

珍︰好啦，爆米花優先。

彼得︰噢！（走向零食區，對店員說）︰中包爆米花一包，謝謝！

店員︰你要加大嗎？兩倍的份量，只要多五十分喔！

彼得︰不用了，謝謝！我真的不吃那麼多，中包就好了。

店員：試試我們的爆米花和可樂套餐，好嗎？只要多兩塊錢，你就可享用一份爆米花及一杯大的清涼飲料，而且整晚兩種都可免費加滿喔！

彼得︰不了，不了，沒關係。我只要一份中爆米花，其它都不要，謝謝！

店員︰總共四塊五十分。爆米花上要加奶油嗎？

彼得︰不用，謝謝！但我們得走了，不想錯過預告片。

珍︰彼得，有點禮貌好嗎？

彼得︰不好意思，這裡是四塊五十分，謝謝！

店員︰謝謝，祝賞片愉快。
