M：What's wrong with your face and arms

J：Nothing. I fell down on my way back home after school.

M：Don't lie to me. Did you fight with someone

J：Okay. I admit I had a serious fight with Tom.

M：Who started

J：I thought he spoke ill of me behind my back, but he denied it. Then I was still so angry that I hit him right on the nose with my fist. And...the fight started.

M：Fighting is not good. You shouldn't have started. No one should start, too. Tomorrow I will go with you to the school to visit the teacher to see what had happened. If you are really wrong, you should apologize for what you have done to Tom, and I would spare you no mercy.



M=媽媽 J=約翰

媽媽：你的臉和手臂怎麼了？

約翰：沒事。我在放學回家路上摔倒了。

媽媽：不要說謊。你和別人打架了？

約翰：好吧。我承認我和湯姆大打一架。

媽媽：誰先開始的？

約翰：我認為他在背後說我壞話，但是他否認。我還是很生氣，所以就一拳打到他鼻子，接著就開打了。

媽媽：打架不是好行為。你不該動手的，也沒有人應該動手。明天我和你去學校找老師，看看到底發生什麼事。如果真的是你錯了，你要為自己所做的事向湯姆道歉，我也不會原諒你。
