Dr. Salustiano T. Jimenez, Regional Director Department of Education – VII from Department of Education Cebu City is presenting recognition pledge to FGS Siddhartha Theater Ensemble for steadfast commitment to deliver quality basic education in Central Visayas. This pledge was received by Director Junrey Alayacyac. This is the second time FGS to be recognized with an educational contribution; the first award was in 2019.

Prince Siddhartha; A Musical Journey to Peace had a successful send-off show in Cebu before they set forth to Taiwan for their performance. This is also the first run of the longest running Cebuano musical after the pandemic and after the successful six-month training of Siddhartha Theater Company’s 20 junior members. All 4 shows were fully packed, garnering a total of 1064 audience. The company even had to turn down some spectators who wanted to watch the play due to the limitations of the number of theater seats.
Apart from the general audience, the show also received support from some important government and NGO charitable and performing arts groups, as follow:
