A legend is sung, of when England was young, and knights were brave and bold. The good king had died, and no one could decide who was the rightful heir to the throne. It seemed that the land would be torn by war, or saved by a miracle alone. And that miracle appeared in London town: The Sword in the Stone.
Whoso pulleth out this sword of this stone and anvil is rightwise king, born of England. Though many tried for the sword with all their strength, none could move the sword nor stir it; so, the miracle had not worked, and England was still without a king. And in time, the marvelous sword was forgotten. This was a Dark Age, without law and without order. Men lived in fear of one another, for the strong preyed upon the weak.
It's up to you how far you'll go. If you don't try, you'll never know.
My name is Merlin...... I happen to be a wizard, a soothsayer, a prognosticator. I have the power to see into the future. Fate will direct him to me, so that I, in turn, may guide him to his rightful place in the world.
you will always remain potential in our image, able to see some of our sorrows and to feel some of our joys. We are partly sorry for you, man, but partly hopeful. Run along then, and do your best.
So you must plan for the future, boy, you've got to find a direction! Come on, pick up the pace.....( So, at last, the miracle had come to pass in that far off time, upon New Year's Day. And the glorious reign of King Arthur was begun.)
There are no boundaries among the geese. How can you have boundaries if you fly?
The best thing for being sad.....is to learn something. That is the only thing that never fails. You may grow old and trembling, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see the world about you devastated by evil lunatics, or know your honor trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it then - to learn. Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting.
