Profound Thinking for the Era of Moving Forward Combining ideals and pragmaticism, with a strong footing on current achievements while looking at global diversity in transforming the world, BLIA General Conference has been highly effective in its Motion Discussion. Through consensus and solidarity,nineteen motions raised during the morning session were resolved in joyous harmony.

Motions included: how to receive new members, promote “Whole-person Excellent Life Caring” education project globally, respond to the UN’s “World Water Day” and “World Interfaith Harmony Week” etc. BLIA members recognized the mission they have to shoulder, and through applause, expressed their vow to actualize them.

The “Forum on Forward Thinking – Iconic Figures” in the afternoon invited icons from the circles of culture, education, economics, and media in leading the international gathering of outstanding members to think and reflect together. Through looking from a variety of perspectives, the forum in the Great Enlightenment Auditorium created spiritual values and guidelines for advancing on the path forward to transform society for the future generation.

Night of the Buddha’s Light in the evening set the stage for BLIA members from around the world to display their talents. From Scout Troops to YAD members, three generations of the large BLIA family came together for a wonderful time of fun and harmony.（妙西法師）

結合理想與實務，立足現階段成就，放眼全球弘化多元化，會員代表大會「議案討論」因共識凝聚所以高效率，十九項提案在和諧歡喜氣氛中達成決議。

從落實接引新入會員、全球推動「全人優質生命關懷」教化，到響應聯合國「世界水資源日」、「世界多元宗教和諧周」，佛光人認知了肩上的使命，透過掌聲表達履行實踐的願力。

「前進的思索‧典範人物論壇」，邀請文化、教育、經濟、媒體界的大儒、先知帶領國際精英一同思考，從多重面向切入，一場創造心靈價值，指引向前有路的春風化雨，在佛館大覺堂高度體現。
