From the appearances of the Buddha

and the sutras,

See the original demeanor of self.

From the flowers, grass, sand, and rocks,

Familiarize yourself with chiliocosms.

From the prayer mat and prostration cushion,

Examine the limitless life of self.

From the calm night and bright moon,

Have firm confidence in the eternal future.
