佛光山頭山門

問一聲汝今哪裏去？

望三思何日君再來！

佛光山寺萬壽堂

永念親恩，今日有緣今日度；

本無地獄，此心能造此心消。

佛光山檀信樓齋堂

吃現成飯，當思來處不易；

說事後話，唯恐當局者迷。

English translation: Venerable Miao Guang

Mountain Gate, Fo Guang Shan

Upon a question asked, “Where are you headed now?”

Do think thrice about when your next return will be.

Longevity Memorial Park, Fo Guang Shan

Remember forever the kindness of the parents,

If connected today, be sure to deliver them today;

Originally there was never hell,

If this mind can create it, this mind can eliminate it.

Dining Hall, Devotee Building, Fo Guang Shan

In eating a meal that is readily available,

Think of the hard work that brought the food here;

In making a belated comment,

Perhaps one is closely involved yet clearly confused.
