心中常存「我是佛」三個字，在待人處事上也可以產生很大的提示作用。

每當和別人說話的時候，我想到是佛在說話，所以我要講慈悲的愛語，要講方便的智語。

每當向大眾開示的時候，我想到是佛在開示，所以我要觀機逗教，處眾無畏。

每當教誨頑劣的徒眾時，我想到是佛在教誨，所以我要循循善誘，耐煩開導。

每當面對怯弱的眾生時，我想到是佛在面對他們，所以我要易地而處，給他們信心，給他們希望。

雖然我還是一個凡夫，與「佛」的境界距離很遠，但因為心心念念都是「佛」，我彷彿蒙獲佛陀的加被，也彷彿得到了佛陀的力用。《法華經》云：「一稱南無佛，皆共成佛道。」誠信然也。

I am a Buddha

Always keeping in mind that“I am a Buddha”can be very helpful in interpersonal relationships.

Whenever I am communicating with others, I remind myself that it is the Buddha speaking to them, and use compassionate and loving words of wisdom through skillful means.

Whenever I am asked to give a public lecture, I remind myself that it is the Buddha addressing them, and use the opportunity to teach according to their levels of understanding, without fear.

Whenever I am instructing my stubborn disciples, I remind myself that it is the Buddha guiding them, and advise them with patience and kindness.

Whenever I am interacting with the timid and weak, I remind myself that it is the Buddha facing them, and be amiable while giving them confidence and hope.

Although we are just ordinary beings who are far away from Buddhahood, when our every thought is with the buddha, then it is as if we are blessed by the Buddha and have the strength of a buddha. It is just as the Lotus Sutra says,“One recitation of the Buddha’s name enables all to attain the Buddha path.”
