Adam: We’ve had a really good week, you know.
Eve: Well it’s certainly better than when we started.
Adam: Do you think we’ll be able to have a holiday this year? Just for a few days?
Eve: Well, I’m not sure. We are beginning to do well, but I don’t think we can afford to close down at the moment, not even for a few days.
Adam: Oh.
Eve: Our company is still in debt you know. We ought to try and pay off the bank loan as soon as we can.
Adam: I suppose you’re right.
Eve: And there’s the money your father lent us. I know business is going well, but we’re not out of the wood yet.
Adam: That’s right, we’re still in the red.
